USA Flags Embroidery Design

This is a Flag pencil topper designed to raise money for The New York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund My husband is a Firefighter in Utah, My 14 yr old son wanted to do something for the families of the NY Firefighters that lost their life in this tragedy. I designed the flag pencil topper so that we could stitch them out and sell them. Here are the instructions for sewing out the pencil toppers: In your 5x7 hoop, hoop a regular size, pre-cut sheet of white felt. No stabilizer is needed (but I use a light tear-away), be careful not to stretch the felt when hooping. Thread up your machine and stitch as shown on the screen. When you get to the last color stop for the last thread change, leave the white thread in the machine. Leave the 1st piece of felt in the hoop, and slip another piece of felt (same color is best) under the hoop. If its easier to remove the hoop to place the felt under it, do so, being careful to not bump the embroidery arm out of place. Continue stitching in white the last color. Cut out the finished designs, and then slip a candy stick or pencil inside the opening.
